Seat Centres

The Mirage seat centres can be spaced between 460 mm and 480 mm, ensuring a comfortable and ergonomic seating arrangement. This range provides adequate space for users, promoting comfort during extended periods of sitting while also being highly suitable for retrofitting to existing/legacy seating arrangements.

Designed-in Recesses

The seat design includes recessed areas that allow for easy integration of seat numbering and branding. This feature is particularly useful in stadiums, theatres, or cinemas where seat identification is necessary. These recesses ensure that any numbering or branding remains securely in place and is easy to read without interfering with the overall aesthetic of the seating arrangement.

OPTIONAL EXTRAS

Armrests

This option is normally opted for in corporate or hospitality areas. Standard polypropylene armrests are durable, resistant to wear and tear, and easy to clean, whilst upholstered armrests are covered with marine grade vinyl and slightly cushioned offering more comfort and a premium aesthetic. The choice between polypropylene or upholstered armrests depends on the application (e.g., comfort vs. durability, aesthetics vs. functionality).

Seat Numbering/Identification

The most widely used method to label or identify seats. Aluminium number discs are most common and durable, either being riveted to the seat or attached via high grade self-adhesive. They provide a professional and lasting solution, offering greater resistance to wear and tear over time. Another option is polyester seat numbering, which are adhesive-backed labels or stickers that can be applied straight on to a seat without riveting via the high grade self-adhesive. This is a simple and usually more cost-effective option, often used in retro fit scenarios.

Coatings for Support Posts

Thermoset and thermoplastic coatings are two types of finishes that can be applied to steel or metal components to improve their durability, corrosion resistance, and aesthetic appeal.
Thermoset coatings are made from polymers electrostatically applied and subsequently set/hardened by heating at high temperature in ‘ovens’. They provide a tough, durable finish that is resistant to heat, chemicals, and wear. Common examples are epoxy or polyurethane coatings.
Thermoplastic coatings are also made from polymers which are applied by dipping components into thermoplastic powders which have been fluidised in a ‘bed’. After the dipping process, and once hardened, a thick flexible layer remains protecting against abrasion, weathering, and corrosion. The most commonly used coating material is low density polyethene (LDPE).
Both coating options protect steel from rust, corrosion, and physical damage, particularly in outdoor or industrial environments. However, it's important to highlight that the thermoplastic dip process covers and protects both the internal and external surfaces of hollow steel sections, whereas the electrostatically applied thermoset process only safeguards the external surfaces.
Each of these options serves to customise or enhance the functionality, durability, comfort, and safety of seating and steel-based components in various industries like stadia, transport, theatre, marine, and commercial sectors.

Upgrading to a fully vinyl-upholstered version is an ideal choice for VIP settings, typically found in corporate suites or hospitality areas, where both style and comfort are essential.
